From a very young age, I loved having a quiet, cozy spot to drift away into creative things.

I’ve put much thought and care into the design of my creative learning space - where kids can learn to play independently or collaboratively, as well as engage in activities such as painting, drawing, colouring, crafts, play dough, hand sewing, reading books, puzzles, Legos, sensory bins, and daily playground visits.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, as well as an Associate of Fashion Design degree from Parsons School of Design in New York City. I’ve been a freelance graphic designer for over 25 years, creating illustrations for children’s fabric, fashion, and gift packaging.

Originally from Nova Scotia, I’ve made Cochrane my home for the past 8 years.
